Terakeet has deep roots in Central New York. Cofounded by Mac Cummings and Patrick Danial, both of whom grew up in local communities, the company has spent more than two decades headquartered in Downtown Syracuse.

In 2013, employees came together to create Cause for the Cuse as a way to support students in the Syracuse City School District (SCSD). Every year, employees organize events in the community and fundraising campaigns for school supplies and educational resources.

Today, while Terakeet operates as a remote-first organization with team members across the country, its connection to the Syracuse community remains a defining part of its identity. Employees continue to lead Cause for the Cuse, advancing our charity’s mission to invest in students and provide them with the support they need to succeed.
